ADVANCEMENT OF RECREATIONAL BOATING IN THE DE-ESCALATION

On June 1, Order SND / 487/2020 has been published in the BOE, which contains the regulations that will be in force during phases II and III of de-escalation.

According to the new order, the following new features are introduced with respect to the previous one published on May 9:
PHASE II, applicable to the territories of the province or territorial unit that have passed phase I:
- The occupation on board is extended to 75% of the people authorized in the certificates of the boat, except in the case of people who live at the same address in which case 100% of the occupation may be reached.ç
The rest remain the same:
- Recreational navigation with own or rental boat is allowed within each health region and up to a maximum of 12 miles away from the Base Port.
PHASE III, recreational nautical activities are already authorized, with no limitations other than those that generally govern them, such as those of a geographical nature and the adoption of preventive sanitary measures.
